Category: Provost Town Hall
Please join us for our virtual Town Hall on September 23rd, from 1-2pm ET. Topic: Beyond the Role: How CAOs Navigate Their Next Chapter Every Chief Academic Officer eventually reaches a crossroads. Whether pursuing a presidency, returning to the faculty, transitioning to another leadership role, or stepping into retirement, there is no single path beyond the CAO position. Join this interactive ACAO Town Hall for a candid conversation with former and current CAOs who have navigated a variety of career transitions. Panelists will share the decisions that shaped their journeys, the challenges and opportunities they encountered, and the lessons they learned along the way. Their experiences offer valuable perspective for leaders who may be considering their own next chapter—whether that transition is years away or already on the horizon. This discussion is designed to inspire, encourage, and spark meaningful conversation among peers. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, reflect on their own professional journeys, and gain insight into the many possibilities that exist beyond the CAO role. Participants will:
