PAHENA Provost Assistants in Higher Education National Association Now Accepting Registrations for March 2017 meeting. Registrations (between July 1 and September 30) will include a two-year membership in this national organization PAHENA IS . . . the Provost’s Assistants in Higher Education, National Association: PAHENA is the first professional development and national networking opportunity specifically for academic affairs administrators who support Chief Academic Officers from all categories of accredited higher education institutions. By way of background - November 2015, PAHENA held its first official meeting in Indianapolis, Indiana, while Provost’s attended APLU sessions. The very successful and productive inaugural meeting, sponsored by Clemson University, prompted plans to reconnect annually, when the following groups hold their annual meetings: Association of Chief Academic Officers (ACAO); National Association of Presidential Assistants in Higher Education (NAPAHE); and the American Council on Education (ACE). PAHENA Offers . . . the opportunity for academic affairs professionals to contribute to, and benefit from quality programming relevant to the effective management of Academic Affairs organizations. PAHENA is a supporting and productive environment where PAs can build professional networks and relationships regionally and nationally.
