American Association of University Administrators National Conference

ACAO is excited to partner with the American Association of University Administrators (AAUA) at their National Conference, which will be held on the Indiana University, Indianapolis campus from October 14-16, 2024! 

The AAUA National Conference is a premier event that brings together university administrators from across the country to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and innovations in higher education. The conference has a tremendous speaker and panelist lineup, including:

• Dr. Nassar Paydar, Assistant Secretary for Postsecondary Education at the U.S. Department of Education
• Dr. Cynthia Jackson Hammond, President of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
• Felicia Martin, Senior Vice President of Inclusion, Education, and Community Engagement, NCAA
• Teresa Lubbers, President of the Sagamore Institute
• Dr. Vistasp M. Karbhari, Professor of Engineering and former President of the University of Texas at Arlington

Another highlight of this year’s conference is a workshop on “Mergers and Acquisitions: Navigating Higher Ed’s Complex Landscape” scheduled for the morning of Monday, October 14th. This workshop will offer in-depth insights and practical strategies pertinent to the ever- evolving landscape of higher education. The workshop is included at no additional cost for registered attendees of the conference. It promises to be an invaluable opportunity to learn from and engage with some of the leading experts in higher education mergers and acquisitions.

Lastly, ACAO is offering a member networking event at the conference from 3:30-5:30pm on Monday October 14th.
